SimiloSolutions, principal Ron Similo is a petroleum sales, marketing and supply professional that offers over forty years of experience in the marketing of petroleum products at all levels of distribution. He is a graduate from the University of Virginia with a BA in Economics and has MBA and MS degrees from the West Virginia College of Graduate Studies/Marshall University. Prior to starting SimiloSolutions, Ron served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Lykins Oil
Company with responsibility for sales, marketing and supply procurement. Ron also served as a member of Lykins Board of Directors and on the Executive Committee. In addition Ron worked at Pennzoil Company as Vice President of fuel and lubricant sales and managed all supply and distribution of fuels in various positions of increasing responsibility for over twenty five years. Ron was also employed as the Eastern Regional Manager for Valvoline Oil Company where he developed the highly successful Valvoline Express Care program. He has served on numerous state and national organizations and has received awards for dedication and expertise in various areas and for outstanding job performance. Ron has worked with family run businesses throughout his career in various capacities and understands the dynamics that may impact those businesses. Ron has now decided to bring his experience and expertise to petroleum marketers and other petroleum related businesses interested in improving their organizations to meet future demands and challenges.
